Preparation for what comes next.

We check, flatten, level, grind and fill floors. We also take up old floors, prepare over existing tile or timber, make small concrete cuts and lay floorboards.

How we work

Rhino Levelling prepares concrete and timber subfloors for the floor that goes on top.

We check the surface with a laser level and a straight edge, correct what we find, take up what's already down, and leave a base the next stage can start on.

Our work meets industry standards, and we always aim for the best result for our customers.

Meet the expert

Freddy owns Rhino Levelling and does most jobs himself. When a job needs to move faster, he brings in specialist colleagues and a support team.

He has 8+ years' experience preparing floors. He got into it because he enjoyed the work, skilled people were hard to find, and every new floor needs a properly prepared base.

Every floor is the same to him: it ends up flat and level to the millimetre. Most customers don't realise how much those millimetres matter, for a good install and for a floor with no problems later.

He checks every floor with the right tools and takes his time doing it. A lot of floors only get checked by eye, or with a short straight edge. To Freddy, that isn't acceptable.

So far, no floor has got away from me without ending up flat and level.

How a job runs

  1. Tell us about the floor

Send a message or email us. Tell us what's down now and what's going on top. Photos help.

  2. We check it

A laser level and a straight edge show what the floor needs.

  3. We prepare it

Removals, grinding, filling or levelling: whatever the floor needs.

  4. Ready for the new floor

Your installer lays it, or we lay it if it's floorboards.
